Welcome to Laon Gallery. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of artworks from Laon Gallery. By placing an order through www.laongallery.com, you agree to these terms. We are committed to providing a transparent, secure, and enjoyable art purchasing experience.
1. Artworks and Authenticity
Laon Gallery offers a curated selection of original artworks, including oil and acrylic paintings. We make every effort to ensure that artwork descriptions, dimensions, materials, and images are accurate. As each original artwork is unique, slight variations in texture, colour, and appearance are natural. Colours displayed on screens may also differ from those of the physical artwork due to lighting and individual display settings. A Certificate of Authenticity will accompany original artworks where specified in the product description.
2. Pricing and Payment
All artwork prices are displayed in the currency indicated on our website. Payments are processed securely through the payment methods available at checkout. Any applicable taxes, shipping fees, or additional charges will be disclosed before the order is completed. We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors. Where an error affects an order, we will contact the customer to confirm the revised details or arrange a refund.
3. Orders and Availability
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation. As many artworks are one-of-a-kind, availability may change without notice. An order is considered accepted when Laon Gallery issues an order confirmation. If an artwork becomes unavailable after payment, we will notify the customer and issue a full refund for the unavailable item.
4. Shipping and Delivery
We take care to ensure that artworks are professionally and securely packaged for transportation. Delivery arrangements, estimated delivery times, and applicable charges are provided in our Shipping & Returns Policy. International shipping may be arranged upon request, depending on the destination and shipping requirements. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information. Any customs duties, import taxes, or destination-specific charges will be communicated where known and will be the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
5. Returns and Refunds
Due to the unique nature of original artworks, we generally do not accept returns for a change of mind. If an artwork arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from its description, please contact us promptly at hello@laongallery.com with your order details and supporting photographs. We will review the matter and arrange an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights. 6. Copyright and Intellectual Property
All artworks and website content, including images, photographs, descriptions, and written materials, remain protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Purchase of an original artwork transfers ownership of the physical artwork only. Copyright and reproduction rights remain with the artist or relevant rights holder unless expressly transferred in writing. Artwork images and website content may not be reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited, or used without permission from the relevant rights holder, except as permitted by law.
7. Website Information
We aim to keep all information on our website accurate and up to date. However, occasional errors, technical issues, or interruptions may occur. Laon Gallery reserves the right to update website content, artwork listings, and product information without prior notice, provided that such changes do not affect confirmed orders without the customer's agreement or another lawful basis.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Laon Gallery shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
